aloe vera

Aloe vera contains something called proteolytic enzymes which repairs dead skin cells on the scalp. It promotes hair growth, prevents itching on the scalp, reduces dandruff and conditions your hair.

castor oil (ricinus communis)

Castor oil is a long-chained fatty acid. Fatty acids provide essential proteins and nutrients to hair follicles, and prevent hair follicle inflammation. Aside from being anti-inflammatory, castor oil has a few other note-worthy properties. Some benefits of using castor oil include increased gloss or shine of the hair, increased hair shaft flexibility by coating the hair shaft, and providing antimicrobial properties.

olive oil

Olive oil promotes moisturized and healthy scalp, fights infections caused due to bacteria and improves the blood circulation in your scalp. A better scalp blood circulation makes your hair follicles stronger thereby helping to produce hair strands that are softer, healthy and thicker.

avocado oil

Avocado oil is extremely rich in oleic acid and monounsaturated fats, making it one of few oils that can actually penetrate the hair shaft and moisturize your hair, rather than sitting on top and coating your hair. These fats also strengthen the hair shaft and help prevent breakage.

sunflower oil

Sunflower oil is a great natural oil that has deep moisturizing properties that improves your natural hair manageability and diminish the look of frizzy unruly hair. Its light texture has low levels of saturated and trans fat, helps to add moisture without becoming too greasy and weighing down your hair.

raw honey

Honey has both emollient and humectant properties, making it a great hair moisturizer. Emollients smooth the hair follicles, adding shine to dull hair. Humectants bond with water molecules, adding moisture to dry strands. By moisturizing and locking in shine, honey can help restore the natural luster of your hair.

Because it strengthens hair, it is also thought that jojoba oil can prevent hair loss and promote hair thickness.

vitamin e oil

The vitamin's antioxidant properties could help reduce the amount of oxidative stress and free radicals that cause the hair follicle cells in a person's scalp to break down.

matcha tea

Matcha green tea is proven to be effective for hair growth. There is a special substance in matcha green tea, epigallocatechin-3-gallate, also known as EGCG, that is beneficial for hair growth. Carbomer creates a healthy film around the hair that smooths the cuticles of the hair, which is ideal for styling our hair.

vegetable glycerin

Glycerin is good for hair that's curly, thick, or frizzy, though it can be beneficial to all hair types. It's helpful for damaged hair and may condition well enough to stop breakage. ... Note that if you live in a dry climate, glycerin may actually draw moisture out of your hair and into the air.

hydrolyzed silk protein

Hydrolyzed silk protein improves the shine of the hair, adds to the elasticity of the hair to prevent breakage and helps the hair retain moisture for longer periods of time.

sodium bicarbonate

Sodium bicarbonate is just a fancy word for baking soda+water. Baking soda dissolved in water helps to remove any buildup of oils, soaps, and other ingredients in typical hair care products. By stripping away this buildup, baking soda can leave hair squeaky-clean, shiny, and soft.
